48 hours after the start of the transfer process, King Khufu's first boat arrived at the Grand Egyptian Museum. The entire body of the boat was secured within two frames, one wood and one metal, that ensured the stability of the boat inside and avoided any damaging movement during the transportation process. In the next few days GEM will organize a press conference to release full details of the Khufu boat's successful transfer.
