The Conservation Centre of the Grand Egyptian Museum organized a specialized training program titled "Treatment and Maintenance of Archaeological Collections and Museum Science" from 17th August to 10th September 2025. The program welcomed 60 specialists in archaeology and museology from Saudi Arabia, providing them with advanced theoretical and practical training in the latest methods of conservation and restoration.
This program is part of a series of training initiatives led by the GEM’s Conservation Centre, reaffirming its position as a leading scientific institution that integrates research with applied excellence. It reflects GEM’s commitment to developing professional capacities in museum science and restoration, and to supporting regional and international collaboration in the preservation of cultural heritage.
