This fragmentary limestone statue possibly represents goddess Isis. She wears a tri-partite hair wig, a broad necklace and a close-fitting robe with two wide straps. The statue was discovered in 1902 among fragments of three other statues at the Temple of Osiris-Khentyimentiu at Abydos. One of the statues had the royal name of King Nectanebo II carved on its pedestal and accordingly all four figures were dated to Dynasty 30. However, the hair and clothing style of this statue suggests an earlier date.
