Description

A silver bowl with two handles, decorated with slanted band decoration (gadroon) rounded at the rim. The decoration was made using repoussé technique (the shaping of metal by hammering the reverse side of the piece). The thin-walled vessel was found folded and flatted but has been restored to its original shape. It was discovered in 1936 among other exotic artefacts under the temple floor at Tod.
