Description
A seated granite statue of Thutmose III discovered at Karnak in 1859. The statue shows the king seated on the throne, wearing the nemes headcloth and the shendyt royal kilt. His hands are placed, palms down, on his knees. On either jamb of the throne is a vertical line of text indicating his name and royal titles.
