Description
Valued for its gorgeous blue colour, lapis lazuli was a favoured gemstone in ancient Egypt. This lapis lazuli necklace is from the important ritual deposit known as the Tod Treasure discovered in 1936. It is composed of barrel-shaped and spheroid-shaped beads strung on a single strand.
