GEM held two successful simulations this week. A simulation was run to test the process for transferring the first King Khufu boat from its current location south of the Great Pyramid at the Giza Plateau to the Grand Egyptian Museum, where a museum, called Khufu Boats Museum, is being built. The second experiment measured the efficiency of the night lighting system for the facade of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is the first of its kind and uses advanced modern lighting methods.
