Description

A statue of silicified wood discovered in 1904 in the Karnak Cache (CK 144). It shows a king, left foot forward, holding a long staff against his left arm. The clothing style of the statue recalls a style in vogue under Amenhotep IV, although the hieroglyphic text on the back pillar gives the name of King Horemheb.
