Description
Various styles of silver vessels including cups and bowls were found as part of the Tod Treasure. Many of the vessels like this silver bowl were decorated with vertical bands (gadroons) created using repoussé technique. Though scientific analysis of the silver suggests the metal comes from Anatolia in Turkey, the style resembles Minoan and Mycenaean cultures in ancient Greece.
