Description
A silver bowl decorated with vertical bands and a double circle at the base. The Tod Treasure was found under the floor of the temple built by King Senwosret I inside four copper boxes, two of which were incised with the name of the King Amenemhat II. It is possible that King Amenemhat II made this offering to honour his father King Senwosret I as well as the god Montu.
