A silver bowl discovered in 1936 as part of the Treasure of Tod. It is decorated with vertical bands and a rounded rim. Imported raw materials and precious products like this silver are evidence of an intensely active and expansive trade network during this period. The Tod Treasure also highlights the role of the king in Egypt as the one who brings wealth to Egypt from abroad.
