Description
This small, gilt hawk with incised plumes was part of a votive ritual hoard discovered in 1918 near the sacred lake of the Dendera temple. The hoard was one of a number of successively discovered caches of spectacular silver, gold and bronze objects, now known as the Dendera Treasure Hoards.
